Soubin Shahir is an Indian actor and director who work in Malayalam cinema. In 2003, he started working as an assistant director in the movie industry. In 2013's Annayum Rasoolum, Soubin made his acting debut in a supporting role. His first film as a filmmaker was the drama Parava (2017). Due to his prominent performance in Sudani from Nigeria, which was also a huge economic success, he got the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2018.
