R. Unnikrishnan offered Juhi a role in Uppum
Mulakum after noticing her among his daughter's classmates. Juhi competed in a
number of state-level tournaments throughout her high school and college years.
Despite her extensive dance experience, she received classical dance training
from Kerala Kalamandalam.
In this comic series, Juhi Rustagi plays
Lekshmi, the oldest daughter of Balachandran and Neelima. Biju Sopanam plays
Balu (Balachandran) and Neelima (Neelu). Lekshmi's siblings are represented by
Rishi S. Kumar (as Vishnu/Mudiyan), Shivani Menon (as Shivani/Shiva), and Al
Sabith (as Kesavan/Keshu).
Lechu, Juhi's character in this serial, is a
teenage girl who is lazy, envious, wicked, and bullies others while also being
